MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to produce ladies and gentlemen educated in the Christian, classical tradition of the West.

Our goal lies in the intellectual and moral formation of our students, that we may help them one day emerge as wise, virtuous Christian ladies and gentlemen who know how to think and learn, and who understand and can bear the responsibilities of a free people.

It is our desire to positively impact our community by providing students with the tools of learning as well as by teaching them to value those things that are true and good and beautiful. WCS employs the classical model in order to form students who read much, speak articulately, think logically, and, ultimately, live well. WCS orients students into the wisdom of classical thought through history, literature, and Latin so that they are grounded in an understanding of their own Western tradition. This in turn enables them to interact effectively with an ever-changing world, coming from a place of strength, through knowledge of the Almighty God and faith in Him.
